Research trained. Design literate. Built for the gap between the two.
I started in applied deep learning, working on image classification and segmentation problems for medical and biological data. Along the way, I kept getting pulled into a second, less expected role: making that same research legible — as a clean figure, a graphical abstract, a manuscript that reviewers could follow.
Today I work as both — a computer vision and bioinformatics researcher, and a scientific illustrator whose figures have run in Oxford Academic journals. Most clients only get one half of that. I bring both.
